Re: Needing an Arbiter

Congrats on the appointment, Malliki. Does this mean the bar appointment procedures will remain the same? I am still waiting on the Bar Exam to be sent to me. (I have already paid the fee to the Imperial Judex.)

Re: Micronational religion

Although it is not listed, I vote Anglican. I'm going to be compiling a history behind the character Elliot Thadeus Markham, and that will be incorporated into it. However B0O0/\/\ism is quite interesting to me.

To prevent further wastes of time such as this, I propose that the SC enact a requirement that the member nation have been active for 90 days/three months, just like the Cartographical Society.

(Additionally I propose renaming the Small Commonwealth simply to "The Commonwealth")

Remember, without the internet we would not have seen the explosive growth of micro-nations. We should also commemorate the inventor of phpBB and Blogspot blog :P as now anyone can whip those up and have their own YAMO or One-Man Micro-Nation in a matter of hours. :P

A day in the life of a non-simulationist micro-nation

I received the following info about a micro-nation via e-mail. Unfortunately this micro-nation like most other non-simulationist micro-nations is laughable. Moreover, this appears to be the most expansive set of claims by a non-simulationist micro-nation ever. They should be careful in choosing such...

An odd thing I noticed

Dear Sir or Madam, Before the recent attacks on Antica and Shireroth, I noticed that in this thread ( viewtopic.php?f=1&t=13810 ) ICEBREAKER had made a post full of Hitler images. Then, a short time later, it was gone, someone having removed it. Since the images in the attacks were of repeated histo...

Re: Today (A Farewell Story)

This is a wonderful little story. Rather than touch on the technical specifics of Dante's longevity, it focuses on the feelings and perspective of the character himself. This makes it sad that House Straylight will no longer be part of Shireroth.

Pft regroup. There wasn't any legitimate regroup. What changed since the day of the rebellion, I mean really? Shireroth's political system still sucks. Community is iffy and a lot of people don't like eachother. No new blood. The only thing that happened is that nobody backed you up on a claim that...

Minister Andreas, Firstly, thank you for the 75% payment. Minister Andreas, Yes, I plan to use the money for various purposes that contribute positively towards the Shirerithian economy. If you can give a 100% refund, that would be a superb move towards that objective. Otherwise I will just take the 75% now and vociferously petition the Kaiser for the rest...

Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc

I just finished Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc by Mark Twain. It's a great dramatization of the life of Joan of Arc, though a hint of lightheartedness--which some might not appreciate--shines through as a result of its author. I personally would recommend it. While the book was panned by the ...

I agree basically with everything the Kaiser has said. There is not a better Kaiser for us now than he. Re: Big fat merger?

As a Batavian citizen, I am not sure whether my fellow Batavians would support a merger. Shireroth appears to be on the decline at this point, and, moreover, there would be a language barrier. Nonetheless, a dissolution of the SC would perhaps lead to the possibility of yet another strong treaty bet...
